I’m James, a UI & UX Enthusiast based in Houston, Texas. I’m currently employed at Texas Southern University, creating Web-based designs, solutions and interfaces for mobile and web apps.

For four years I studied Computer Science and then I started working as web designer and front-end developer. After working in that field for a few years I decided to steer in the UI/UX direction, as my interest expanded to my wanting to design and build solutions that specifically meet the needs of the end users.

I have designed for Web-ased Newsletters, Digital Signage, iOS, Android, Windows, etc, always focusing on the best possible user experience. An added value about being a designer with a development, business, and marketing background is that not only can I handle the visual aspects of a project, but I can fully understand and participate in the technical and business aspects of those projects as well.
